QUESTION

Bought stolen NFL Tickets, what can I do?

Asked on Sep 11th, 2011 on Civil Litigation - California
More details to this question:
I have the sellers phone number, and text messages leading up to the sale. All terms of the agreement are clearly stated. Also, we met in person and I can identify a face and a car. The value of the transaction was about $1000. It was not a cash deal however, instead I traded a macbook for the tickets. Also, I am not sure what category this should be in! Sorry if this is the wrong one.

If your seller stole the tickets and sold them to you, he is committing a crime.  You could also sue him in small claims court.  You have no right to use the tickets in any way since they were stolen.  I hope this helps you and suggest you work with the police.
