QUESTION

Can a child be kicked out of school without proper basis?

Asked on Mar 05th, 2014 on Litigation - California
More details to this question:
My 11 year old son is being kicked out of school based on things the kids said he did. No teacher or school employee witnessed any of the things he is being accused of. After he wrote his statement he was pressured to write another after being called a liar in the present of the school police. His classroom was change as a request of a parent. He was thrown in a class with the majority of the class had special needs. He has never been expelled for these accusation made by kids, never been evaluated by a school therapist. Are these things within school policy?

I have no idea. You did not say what he allegedly did to get kicked out. He is entitled to a hearing if he is being suspended over 5 days or expelled. I have no idea what school district you son goes to school. Without information I cannot answer your question.
