More details to this question:
A Civil Case was started by a Plaintiff on 2/12/2014 in Polk County Florida I started a Counter claim on 11/12/2014 written by a hired lawyer. Material was sent back and forth to the court from each side. There was an injunction issued by a judge concerning a problem relating to sections within the counterclaim. On June 24, 2015 there was a pretrial mediation session that took place to help resolve problems in the hope of settling issues therefore avoiding a trial. The settlement was one sided with serious issues left out in favor of the Plaintiff. The way the settlement was written it is as though my lawyer was paid off. A trial date was set for August 4, 2016 but was canceled the last hour by my lawyer who stated to Plaintiff’s lawyer an agreement has been reached even though none was agreed upon. The context of your question shows that you have little idea of what you are doing or has happened in your case. Seems in June 2015  a settlement was reached  - on happy terms or no - but then you relate a trial date and then counter-claim issues - none of which make sense as presented. YOu need to start with discussing this all with our existing lawyer not looking foir blurb help on the internet.
