QUESTION

Can a minor refuse inpatient medical treatment?

Asked on Apr 03rd, 2014 on Litigation - Georgia
More details to this question:
I am a minor, 14 years old. I have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. This has caused my pulse and weight to be lower than recommended. The treatment that I am receiving is not going to help me get better. I am demanding to go home, but I am on lock down in the Comprehensive Care Unit of the hospital. How can I get myself out of the hospital?
