More details to this question:
I have a Civil judgement in the state of Michigan against an Attorney/Debt Collector in the amount of $23,200.00. The date it was filed was 2/19/2017. I live in Michigan and the defendant lives in Anaheim California. Can I still collect? If so, how do I collect an out of state judgement?

I assume that you mean it was entered on 2/19/2007, right? Was it entered in Michigan or California? If in Michigan, you have at least until 2/17/2017 to file a new case based upon that Judgment in which you will get a new Judgment, which will be good for another 10 years. Then, you will have to get someone in California to Register it there and have it enforced. If the original Judgement is from California, I THINK you have the same time frame to get the Judgment renewed in California. In either case, you should be all right if you move quickly. Good Luck.
