QUESTION

Can I get my bike back

Asked on Mar 28th, 2020 on Civil Litigation - Texas
More details to this question:
I took my motorcycle to a consignment motorcycle dealer early August 2019, it was there until late November 2019, it was supposedly purchased. The dealership asked me to bring in the original title to the motorcycle and sign it for a title transfer, so I did. And few weeks passed I didn't hear back from the dealership, so called they told me they were still waiting for the title to be transferred . After a week or so I checked back and I was told they were waiting on the check to clear. A few weeks passed in called them up and still the same, they are waiting for the check to clear. Now it early March and I'm told the check has cleared and they're waiting for the finance company to send the check to them and once they get it and deposit it into there account then they can cut a check for the amount of what I wanted to sale my motorcycle for. Now it's late March and still no check has been sent. So now do i have the legal right to get my bike back from the dealership

Did you sign a contact for the consignment? It sounds like your best remedy is to get the money for the bike because you've already signed for the title to be transferred.
