Is this a class at school? Then that's a civil matter and sorry I don't know civil law.

Was the school paid? If so, they have no right to be paid twice.

Your financial aid only covers whatever it says. Did they give the school full money for all of your courses? If so, then see someone at the payment office. If you got the money directly, you need to pay. And if the aid covered some of your courses, you may have to pay for the others.

The question would be did your financial aid pay for this class? The school should not be able to be paid twice for the same class.

Did you pay for the class? Did financial aid already pay for the class? They cannot charge twice and do make mistakes. Take it up with them.

If you haven't paid the school the tuition for the class you took the school is entitled to payment unless they are willing to waive the tuition based on your financial circumstances. You should talk to the schools financial department to see if they will make some concession to you because of your financial condition. If some of the financial aid that you received was earmarked to be paid to the school and you used it for something else you owe the school the money and should try to pay it out of future financial aid you receive if they won't make any concession to you.

Generally if you take a class you are the one responsible to pay the tuition, and if they are not paid from a hoped for third party, it is your bill.

I don't understand your question. Was the financial aid paid to the school? If so you are being double billed. If it was not paid to the school then you must pay.

YES. They do it all the time. Your financial aid probably ran out and SOMEBODY has to pay for that class.

If you are getting financial aid, did the aid pay their part or it to be reimbursed to you. I believe the school can do what it is doing.
