Can I sue store for being wrongfully accused of stealing?

More details to this question:
I was at a store, grabbed, taken to back room, accused of stealing and then released when they realized I had a receipt. I was harassed and embarrassed.

You can file a lawsuit for almost anything. The real question is whether it's worth it to file a lawsuit. You'd need to look at what your claims are, whether those claims would succeed, and what type of monetary damages you can expect to receive. I'd suggest talking to a plaintiff's attorney about these issues, but from what I've read thus far, this is not a lawsuit that would be worth pursuing.

Not unless you were detained for a long time or had medical bills from a battery. A shopkeeper is allowed to detain a suspected thief even if their wrong.

Under the Shopkeeper Rule, they have a right to detain you. You would not likely prevail.
