QUESTION

Can I sue WalMart for not firing a racist Associate?

Asked on Jul 19th, 2017 on Litigation - California
More details to this question:
I was recently terminated from WalMart for gross misconduct. A White associate had called me a n***** and ever since then, we have had issues. The morning before termination, the associate had said something to me as I walked by, so I got in his face and we were going to fight. His wife, an associate, was also there instigating the whole thing. The argument was broken up before anyone actually laid hands on one another. I was the only one fired in this situation. There has been over 15 associates who have filed complaints about the situation and provided statements about the racial slurs that the associate had given. This WalMart is not firing this Associate. Do I have any case here?

Yes. We don't handle this kind of case on a contingent fee basis. Go to Lawyers.com and look for employment and discrimination attorneys who represent plaintiffs and employees. Good luck. Dana
