QUESTION

can I use someone I allowed to live with me for cleaning & damage their dog caused

More details to this question:
I allowed my daughter to move back home while in school. She got a puppy but one of the agreements to her moving back was she would be responsible for cleaning up iafter this dog, repair any damage, steam clean the carpet. During her stay, she, also, started projects involving wood pallets which she asked if she could use and store them in my garage. My condition was she clean up after herself. I was forced to kick her out for multiple reasons such as, not cleaning up after her dog, lying, etc. It took me 14 1/2 hours to thoroughly clean my house of dog pee, dog hair and the numerous other messes she caused like the pallets in my garage. Prior, I confronted her about the cleaning, pallets and damages and she refused saying she couldn't afford the gas to drive back & forth. The dog damaged my yard she said she would fix herself. Can I just take her to small claims to get money for the cleaning I did & to cover damages?

Yes, and if the Court believes your testimony rather than your daughter's (she will no doubt testify to a different version of events), you will be awarded damages.  The amount of damages, however, might be difficult to prove since you have no bills for cleaning services, etc.  Also, being awarded damages doesn't mean that you can collect.  If your daughter can't afford gas, she may not be able lto pay any judgment.
