My dad gifted me a car under six months ago. We had the title changed and everything. I want to move out, but if I do, he says I'm not taking the car. Can he, in fact, stop me? We had a huge argument over me smoking pot last night and I already found a room. I already found a room to rent, I just need to know if I can keep the car to go to work and to school. Thank you!

If the car is in your name alone, you most likely can keep the car.
