QUESTION

Can there be greater expectation of privacy on private roads?

Asked on Nov 18th, 2015 on Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
While I understand there is no expectation of privacy on public roadways and anyone can record anyone else, does the same standard hold true for private roadways, ie. gated communities. I understand the expectation of privacy applies to government agents and actors so would there be any intrusion of seclusion for a private citizen video taping me in my neighborhood.

If someone is taping you on your private property, you ask them to leave. When they do not leave, you can have a trespass warning issued by the cops.
