More details to this question:
Can you defend a lawsuit if youre blocked from entering the country? My ex boyfriend paid for me to fly to his country where he set me up to be sexually assaulted. After wards his lawyer in USA sent me a cease and desease to stop me from speaking. So now I have council and will sue him in USA but his lawyer who sent the CD says under Rule 11 of the federal rules of civil procedures he is not allowed n the country to defend the suit. But he as engaged me through his American lawyers and he owns a company with USA headquarters. So so can I still file a suit against him here?

If the matter you are suing for, i.e. the assault, happened here, you can sue here.  The problem is process service.  You may need to get some form of substituted service, but this is no problem in the end.  Then, collection of any judgment is another issue.  If he owns a company here, you should be able to collect.
