Hi I was wondering if I had a case for a civil suit against a county the brought charges against me. I am an employee for the county and was brought up on criminal charges for doing my job. My charges were dismissed but it took a year and it made the news paper about 5 times with negative attention towards me. I had to pay my attorney a decent amount of money to represent me and was wondering if I had any legal recourse to help me recover the money I spent and for the embarrassment I suffered

Did you lose your job? Why were the charges dismissed? Also did you file a notice of claim with the county within 90 days of your arrest?. Who brought the charges and what were the charges?
