co-signer options

More details to this question:
I co-signed on an auto loan and the primary borrower is late on a payment. I would like to take over the car myself before it is 30 days late but do not have access to the car and the primary borrower has ignored all communication attempts.

You should make payment to the lender, having possession of the car makes no difference to your obligations to make payment on the loan.
