If I rent someone a space to hold a show on only Fridays each month for $62.50 per night (or $250 per month) on a month-to-month basis, what happens when there is 5 Fridays in a particular month instead of 4 Fridays? They pay in advance on the last Friday of each month by the way.

You just put in the contract that they pay for each Friday.

If there is a written agreement and there should be consult it to see exactly what language appears in it. If it says $X per month for every Friday, then a 5th Friday is included. If it says $Y per Friday, then a 5th Friday is not. Good Luck.

If you pay for the month, you pay for the month, unless your lease says otherwise. If you get an extra week, you get an extra week. Good luck.

Either renegotiate the contract, charging per day, or you will make a gift during the months with 5 Fridays.

It just depends on the contract, Whether it's a month rate or per week rate.
