QUESTION

Court judgement

Asked on Mar 13th, 2017 on Civil Litigation - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I owe a judgement from 2010. I went looking for the individual, to be told by her husband she had passed with breast cancer. He stated he wanted no money and would write me a letter of satisfaction. But I do want to pay him at least the initial amount. I need to know how to get this money to him with no attorneys involved. He thinks an attorney would take too much of the money. If I obtain a copy of her death certificate along with the letter of satisfaction should this be enough info for the courts to give the money to him?

If he refuses to accept a money but will write a letter of satisfaction of the judgment, then take up his offer.
