QUESTION

Default judgement - civil lawsuit

Asked on May 29th, 2015 on Civil Litigation - Colorado
More details to this question:
Well..it seems i lost a suit by default judgement and I now owe over 15.000 to Public Credit Service Union. Problem is i never received any paperwork (No summons' no phone calls, nothing) until after the judgement was passed and got notified on it a few weeks back. Now, I don't own any property, all i have to my name is a laptop and a bank account that is mostly empty (living from paycheck to paycheck is pretty hard, but i manage somehow) Besides the wages garnishing what other methods are there for them to collect? Can I be sent to jail over this?
