More details to this question:
I have been a preschool teacher with Scenic Preschool at 945 Scenic Highway from 07/2017-07/10/2018. I am well past my probationary period and have been an exemplary employee who has received both a raise and promotion without and zero write ups to date. On Wednesday, 07/11/2018, Around 2:00 pm I was called from my classroom to the office where I was taken outside by PPD and notified that Scenic Preschool was pursuing theft charges against myself and another employee regarding theft and destruction of property. The property in question was a spiral notebook and not of any value or requirement under the Deparment of Children and Families or Early Learning Coalition laws or policies. I was terminated from my position and have pending criminal charges. Do I have a solid case to pursue a lawsuit for wrongful termination, defamation of character, or other applicable means of litigation?
