I cosigned to get someone out of jail. They missed court. The bailbonds company(through a collection agency) sued me as I was the one with a job. They won. Can I sue the person that I cosigned for?

Yes, but if the collection agency didn't sue because they figured they wouldn't be able to collect, it seems like a good bet that you will have a very difficult time collecting.
