My daughter used my car for 30 minutes Saturday however she did not return my car and being concerned with her well being I file stolen. She will now have a felony charge. I do not plan to prosecute and can pick up my car tomorrow. She is in jail for this awaiting court date. Are there situations where a plea deal will reduce the felony to misdemeanor or breach of trust?
