QUESTION

Fight off school campus.

More details to this question:
So I am 18 years of age and there was an incident where i got into a fight with another student, after school hours, and off school grounds. The fight was planned and through the school day the entire school had heard about it and it wasnt long before cops were informed and sent to the area after school. We saw this and tried to leave and were then pulled over and the officers asked us our names and said they weren't going to do anything since there was no fight but that they would gove our names to the school to inform them of who was going to fight. The other guy and i later met up somewhere else farther from school and fought, and of course someone recorded. Does the school have any legal jurisdiction to charge us with crimes considerig we are 18 years old, and it was no where on school area. Or should i begin seeking a lawyer.

No school ever has jurisdiction to charge anyone with crimes, but that doesn't mean that the school can't discipline the two of you for your conduct.
