QUESTION

How do I avoid going to jail if x violated a stalking injunction against me

Asked on Nov 15th, 2016 on Civil Litigation - Utah
More details to this question:
Ex-girlfriend filed stalking injunction against me, months later she contacted me and wanted to get back together like a fool I did not report it and agreed to work things out as you can guess things have turned sour again and she is threatening to call the police because she's not getting her way. while we were trying to work things out she wrote two letters to the court asking them to drop stalking injunction both of which were denied. she has also stated that her father wants to kick my butt. She has a history of domestic violence but had it expunged and I have never had any problem with the law whatsoever. Can I get the stalking injunction dropped or turned around? SHE is using it just to harass me, I want nothing to do with this woman or her family and just want them to go away but I don't want to go to jail over it either. I can't afford an attorney so any help would be appreciated

You certainly are in a mess. What I would need to do is review your case and the orders, plus whatever evidence you may have to support your position. I offer an initial 1/2 hour consultation for free, if you are interested.
