QUESTION

How do I get my daughter back in my custody?

Asked on Feb 15th, 2024 on Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
A judge ordered temporary custody of my daughter to someone that I don’t know, because of a default due to my lack of response in a timely manner. At a case management hearing, the judge said that the case was to be closed. I would like to get my daughter back but I don’t know what steps to take, as I am a self represented litigant at this time. I checked the judges procedures for the appointed magistrate and there’s no information on how to go about reopening a case.I don’t want them to grant full custody. Please help.
