QUESTION

How do i negotiate a payment plan for an old judgement?

Asked on May 11th, 2017 on Civil Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
I recently found out that my license was suspended due to an accident and judgement. I know i need to enter into a payment plan and show proof to get my license back. The judgement was in Jan of 2007 and approx. $3000. The amount currently owed with interest is approx $7700. I dont have the funds to offer a one-time payment, but would like to know what a reasonable payment plan to offer would be(payment per month and number of months) Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You are asking the wrong people - you need to ask the other party what THEY wull accept. They are NOT required to make a payment plan at all so thats your starting point.
