I was served today for an accident on 02/24/19 at or about 10:40 p.m. in Kenedy, Texas. I was found at fault, even though the other vehicle did not have their headlamps on. No medical assistance was required. Though both driver and passenger had stated that they both suffered from previous injuries. I collided with them after coming to a complete stop in the center turn lane after hearing a horn sounding. I looked all around and saw nothing coming in either direction on the highway and then proceeded to continue to my destination stop. Crunch. I told the officer that they did NOT have their headlights on. Told him to check the cameras. I was ignored. Everything I said seemed to fall on deaf ears.
Turn the summons and complaint over to your car insurance company who you were with at the time of the accident. They will pay for your defense free of charge. If you were NOT insured at the time of the accident then you will have to pay for a defense.
