More details to this question:
I had an order to show cause last month. I arrived at my mandatory appearance. Everything went well the judge said he would approve the motion. He signed the order the very next day. However, the lawyer has yet to receive the order

If the Judge signed your OSC a month ago, your attorney should have gotten it long ago. Are you in a mandatory ecf court (NY Supreme is one; everything must be efiled.) If so, the signed OSC would have been uploaded to the Court website.
