QUESTION

How to find a lawyer to represent in a property damage case

Asked on Jan 10th, 2017 on Civil Litigation - Arkansas
More details to this question:
A neighbor came onto our property and cut down 48 trees. Our property extends behind theirs and the trees "blocked their view of the lake". We are extremely upset over the loss of the trees and want to seek compensation. We don't know what kind of attorney to look for, as none of the local attorney adds mention this kind of case.

I believe any competent trial lawyer could represent you in a case like you describe. You have an interesting factual situation in that most cases involving a trespass to cut trees arise when someone cuts the trees for resale. There may be a violation of our criminal laws. A person has taken your property.
