The jail failed to administer my glaucoma medication upon intake. Four months later due to the pressure build up in my right eye it exploded and I immediately lost my vision. I was rushed to the hospital only to be told had they give me my medication this could have been averted. The jail never scheduled a follow-up appointment for me until 8 months later at which time my vision in my so called good eye went from 20/70 to 20/400 legally blind.
