If my mailman stopped passing can I sue?

It's been almost 2 weeks and my mailman hasnโ€™t passed. He's blaming it on a few pot holes in the street.

Sue who? The Postal Service? They are broke. They will get a govt lawyer to rep them free and will keep you in court for maybe 2 years. who will pay your lawyer to go through 2 years of such nonsense? Can you afford that? what is your damage other than hurt feelings? Did it occur to you to call the postmaster and ask what the rules are?

Complain to his supervisor. Lawsuits are costly and take time.

Sure you can. Just be ready to cough up a couple hundred dollars per hour in legal fees that your lawyer will surely require of you to sue the federal government.
