QUESTION
I'm being harrassed by my children's school and my name is being slandered. It is effecting my career and home life. What do I do?

I have four boys. Ages 13,11,7 and 10 months. Often, like boys do, my two middle sons fight. My 7 yr old ended up with a bruise over his eye due to one conflict with my 11yr old. The school questioned both boys. Although, they wer e honest and told them that they had faught..the school alleged abuse and neglect. CPS investigated..found nothing. Earlier last week they got into another conflict that ended with each having a scratch. CPS was called...this is after I made contact with the school and requested the guidance consular speak with the boys abt fighting. I'm a case work. This is effecting my career and home life. My boys are my world and Im tired of being accused of abuse and neglect. I feel like Im being targeted by my younger sons's teacher. What can I do?

The best course of action in this scenario is to speak with the teacher directly and try to hash this out. I doubt she's being malicious in her actions and is simply looking out for the best interest of the children as is her duty. If you feel she has the wrong impression then speak with her. If that doesn't fix the issue then speak with her superiors.
