Goodmorning, . . I'm writing this letter to you for my daughter who i'm very concerned about. She lived with her boyfriend up until October 20th when he left. He moved in with an old girlfriend. Turned around and brought the police over to my daughters house and accused her of stealing his wallet and checks, which she didn't. Told them she wrote a check fo 124.00 for the lights when in fact it was an autopay withdrawl. My daughter was more than willing for them to search her house but they didn't..A couple days later they hit her with a restraning order saying she verbally abused them. He also claimed she texted him one night over a 100 times. We tried to get the text from Sprint mailed to us to prove she didn't but it won't come for 3 weeks. The court date is December 13th. He has also sent a nude picture over the phone of his behind saying she will never see that again. His truck driver friends have been texting her and calling. She has not answered them but kept the numbers and texts..Unfortunatly we erased the nasty photo. It was before the restraining order, my Grandaughter saw that one. I'm so worried that if they get this restraining order they WILL lie and say she violated it. I know him and he will do this. PLEASE help us. I'm not rich, i'm retired because of a sever Kidney Disease and my daughter is alone with 2 children to raise..I don't want sympathy, i'm just stating a fact. Can you help us?
This is the "ask a question" forum, not the "find a cheap lawyer" forum. If your daughter is accused of a crime and cannot afford legal representation, she may be entitled to be provided with counsel at state expense. You do not explain what else she may be facing and what she is doing about it. She needs an attorney, not a mother with a computer.
