QUESTION

Is a Mechanic's Lien good forever?

Asked on Sep 19th, 2014 on Civil Litigation - Oklahoma
More details to this question:
A Mechanic's Lien has been filed on my property. Based on the cost to have another contractor repair the damage that was done to my property by the first contractor, I owe nothing. Is a Mechanic's Lien good forever? Should we go to court and a Judge decide in their favor, will I be required to pay a high interest rate on the Lien amount? Great website!
