Is a Pa school compelled to carry health coverage for athletes?

My daughter has an abscess on her leg and has sought med tx. If it is determined to be caused by her field hockey participation, ex shinguards, is the school liable for monetary damages if my out of pocket expense has to be met? I am divorced with no contact (her choice) but I am responsible for 80% of out of pocket expenses.

Yes, they absolutely can be found liable for ALL her expenses. What the insurance company pays, the insurance company can sue and collect.
