Is a privacy screen on chain link fence ok?

More details to this question:
I have a privacy screen on my chain link fence. It has been up for 5 years. Now the city of phoenix, Arizona is demanding I take it down. I have looked at the city codes and many different kinds of products are on their banded list but privacy screens are not out right mentioned. Do I need to take it down?

Ask them exactly what provision of the code they think you're violating, and why they think your screen violates it. They may have an argument, they may be out of line. If you think they're out of line after they explain their reasons, contact an attorney directly.
