More details to this question:
I had a friend hold a large sum of money..she stole 27k of it and sent an email to me acknowledging that she was very sorry and now owed me the money..she also sent a repayment letter that starts sept 30..i want to tell her that if she doesn't keep the arrangement that I will persue criminal charges..are there criminal elements here???

You say your friend stole money from you. That's a crime.
