QUESTION

Is this a proper procedure and was I discriminated?

Asked on Sep 17th, 2013 on Litigation - Washington
More details to this question:
I was at a local government board meeting that is open to the public. At the proper time when the Mayor asked if anyone would like to address the board I came forth and asked a question. The Mayor became upset and stopped the meeting and told me I could not ask the board any questions.

Yes you were discriminated against but I would need to know the question and why it was asked in order to properly address this issue.

If there are no policies on the subject matter that can be addressed, then your rights were violated. You should retain an attorney for this because if you go in on the basis your rights were violated, you will not get anywhere.
