My grandson and a friend traded dirt bikes. The friend did not get his parents' permission. He wrecked the traded bike (originally my grandson's) - $650 damages. The friend's father is now suing my son for $1100 because he did not give permission.
Minors may enter into contracts, but they can be revoked. The magistrate likely will consider it a done deal, seeing as how the one is now wrecked. I would get book values on each bike to take to the hearing.
