More details to this question:
My 16yr old son was cut 80 times on his chest by 17yr old girlfriend who got off on it. They were superficial cuts but he has keloided scars that are never going away and has now ruined his future in the military. Can I go after her in civial court? They were both Baker Acted as a result and there qas a police report but they said I could not press charges nor could I get a restraining order.

The homeowner insurance company of the girls parents may face exposure to a lawsuit. Discuss in private with counsel here in Florida for representation on contingency fee. I don’t charge unless the case is won.   If the girl is a minor, her parents may be exposed to civil liability if they knew or should have known that she posed a danger to your son, but failed to take steps to alleviate or eliminate that risk. Discuss with counsel here in Florida for possible contingency fee representation. That means lawyer doesnt collect a fee unless the case is won.
