Mom signed my name to dividends checks

I got notified by IRS, owing Taxes to Delhaize. I was a military wife. These checks went to her address/I had forgotten my father put Food Lion stocks in my name. She wasn’t my POA, I have stubs showing the amount of checks. This is fraud. Do I contact Police ? How can money be paid back she’s healthy.

You can contact the police and/or you can sue her. Assuming that you win your civil suit, and/or that she is convicted in any criminal proceeding arising out of your complant to the police and ordered to pay restitution, the money can be paid back out of her current assets and/or future earnings.
