My attorney became a judge halfway through the case, what do I do now?

More details to this question:
My case was scheduled for 3 hours. It ran long and now my lawyer has became a judge. He did not tell me till after my case. What do I do now? Does he have a responsibility to tell me that information before taking a case?

He has a responsibility to notify all his clients that he is leaving his practice. ?You should start seeking out a new lawyer.
