QUESTION

My car was stolen while in a rehab program

Asked on Dec 26th, 2019 on Civil Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
I was in a 6 month rehab program.. my car had no insurance on it and was left at a friends house while I was rehab.. when I got out my car was gone. The 14 Camry was financed through Wells-Fargo in both my name and my ex wife. Wells Fargo doesn’t repo the cars the finance I couldn’t afford it anymore so I thought it was repossessed. The people I lived with are using so I think they sold it or had it chopped.. no police report has been filed ... don’t know what to do.

Unless law enforcement catches them as you claim - there is nothing to do. Unfortunately. suing a house full of junkies that sold your car for parts, assuming thats true, is not liely to result in a new car nor money so its not a productive course. If they get caught youmight seek restitution but thats the only practical solution.
