My wife met the school bus to get my son. My son got off the bus and walked to the car and was covered head to toe in blood, his. The bus just pulled away and the driver never told her what happened. My wife had to contact the Culpeper Transportation Office and the 911. Neither of which had been contacted by the driver. The attacker was found guilty in court two counts assault and got a five day suspension from school. Culpeper DSS has been contacted, a complaint filed as to the safety of my child on the bus and the lack of action taken by the bus driver that day. Since the incident, my son has been diagnosed with post concussion syndrome and after months of partial home schooling has been allowed to return to school for one and half hours a day. He is still under doctor`s care and treatment. This is a long term issue. They are talking about him taking special education classes and his medical bills are growing.
