QUESTION

Property maintenance company

Asked on Apr 14th, 2014 on Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
We have decided to change maintenance companies. Prior to the change we began work with a contractor through our MC to tile the floor in two bathrooms (so no upstairs toilets). Since we have advised our MC of the change they have stopped the contractor coming unless we pay the money up front, which has never been the case in the past. This has meant that we have now been 6 days without any bathroom facilities up stairs. We are having to use a small bathroom down stairs. We have other complaints against them which is the reason for us changing companies. Are we in our rights to cancel this job and get some one else to finish it?
