More details to this question:
Is it possible to sue for punitive damages. I suffered a serious injury requiring surgery. Defendant is facing Felony Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Disciplinary Pre Trial Conference is scheduled in Dec. He has a well paying job but is without attachable assets. Could his wages be garnished by the courts to pay for damages?

It might be possible to sue and obtain an award of damages, including punitive damages. It will likely prove difficult to find an attorney who will represent you in such a matter because the defendant does not have assets or insurance.
