QUESTION

Small Claims Court or not?

Asked on Sep 04th, 2020 on Civil Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
I am in Pasco county and have to file a claim of $7000. I read that Florida law states small claims are up to $8000. But I looked at the court info it says up to $5000. Why is this difference? How do I file a claim now? It's about money for services not done and not held properly.

This is the failing of representing yourself in court. There was a jurisdictional change. You can ask the clerk about it.
