I have an ex-roommate that never charged me utilities or internet for four years. Now they’ve sent a bill for all of it at once. Is there a statute of limitations on utilities and internet debt between roommates with no written agreement?

I would think six years but there are equitable doctrines that may bar the claims even if filed within the statute of limitations.
