More details to this question:
Didn't include the disclaimer on a request for admissions per rule 216 and didn't have an explicit court order, the judge simply said "file your discovery today." representing myself as a defendant pro se

You can try simply refiling corrected requests. If such a filing would be untimely or otherwise unacceptable, you can file a motion for leave to do so.
