More details to this question:
I live in Indiana. Purchased a vehicle from a dealership and have had multiple issues with them losing my paperwork. Now, my plates are expiring and they still haven't filed the documents I need to get my plates through the bmv. Can I legally take back my vehicle and demand my deposit back?

You should contact the BMV to ask what they suggest. If you want to return the vehicle, then send the dealership a certified letter demanding the proper paperwork or else you will return the vehicle by a date certain.
