What can happen to me in court?

More details to this question:
I'm 17 years old. In the state of NY I have been charged with two second degree assault charges because I shot two people with a paintball gun. I have never been in trouble before.

You should retain a good criminal lawyer to handle the case. If the people were not injured and you do not have a criminal record the judge may grant Youthful Offender Treatment status and you will not have a criminal record.
